・・・あらゆる国民、部族、民族。国語のうちから・・・大勢の群集が・・・
御座と子羊との前に立っていた。」
黙示録7章9〜12節(Book of Revelation)
Theme verse for CM2007

CM2007 is a time to magnify our marvelous Christ, connect with the hearts and lives of other students and staff from around the world, and consider how God would use us to help bring His message to those students who have never heard it.

1. In the months of late May to late Jun, we received mission teams from US PSW (America - Pacific South West region), NYKCCC (New York Korea CCC Division) & SCCC (Singapore CCC Team). This year, I am privileged to work with the Singapore team of 13 at Gakugei University from 25 May to 17 June (about half of the team came to help at Gakugei University while the remaining went to Tsuda Women College). At Gakugei, we saw our first fruit in this new academic year, Mikachan on the May 30. Mikachan came to our English Lunch every Tue as a result of our publicity for Student Impact at one of her English Class in April & has since been faithfully coming to our meeting. She has also started to come to our Bible Study in Japanese... Please thank God with us that over the short 3 weeks, the team shared with a total of 38 students & saw 3 of them came to accept Jesus as their personal Lord & Savior.

2. Campus Missions 2007 (in short CM2007) @ Busan, Korea from 29 Jun to 5 Jul. It is our first Campus Crusade worldwide Missions Conference to mobilize & raise workers for the worldwide harvest field… We are expecting a total of 20,000 delegates (students, volunteers & staff) from the world, of which 50 students from Japan have signed up. Patrick will be leaving with the JCCC delegates. Please pray for a powerful outpouring of God's spirit in our midst!

Among the 25,000 campuses in the world, about 8,000 are considered to be the most influential. Yet only on 2,000 or about 25% of these top level universities can one find some form of Christian influence. Knowing the kind of impact and influence that these future leaders can make on the society, we need to face up to the challenges of reaching students on the 6,000 unreached influential campuses. CM2007 was born to accelerate the building of movements on every campus in the world.

PRAYER UPDATES:

1. In mid May, some of you were asked to pray for Estella's back problem. Thank God that she had a series of treatment by the chiropractor & was seemingly on the route to recovery. However, on the Jun 20 while sending the kids for their swimming lesson, she hit & fell from her bicycle... It seems to aggravate her already weak back... Please pray for complete healing...

2. We are thankful that the kids are adjusting well to their new school lives, especially for Megumi (1st grade elementary school) & Hitoshi (1st grade kindergarten).
